Dr. Avery Ruben completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Nova Southeastern University in 2016, graduating with the prestigious honor of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. This recognition highlights his exceptional clinical skills and commitment to ethical and professional standards. Prior to his dental studies, Dr. Ruben earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in food science and human nutrition.

With a passion for staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Dr. Avery Ruben regularly engages in continuing education and professional development opportunities. He utilizes the latest techniques and state-of-the-art technology to deliver personalized, comprehensive dental care to his patients, including dental implants and clear aligners.

While not practicing dentistry, he enjoys traveling, sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.

I recently moved from Oregon to Kirkland, Washington, and needed to find a good dentist. This was due to my move as well as the fact that I hadn’t seen a dentist for something like 15 years (I know… Sorry, Mom) and knew my teeth needed some serious work. Being new in town with no one to refer me to a particular dentist, I simply chose the nearest dental office that accepted my insurance. I am feeling so lucky and blessed that I chose Kirkland Family Dentistry and was assigned to Dr. Avery Ruben. Dental visits are visits I usually dread, but I felt very at ease and confident things would be done correctly the minute Dr. Ruben began his work! He gave me a detailed summary of what problems my teeth had and the various options available in getting them fixed, included approximate costs for each option, and, with my input on priority, laid out a possible plan for bringing my entire mouth back to a healthy state. The fact that I now have a clear path to having my many dental issues repaired is amazing and has gotten me excited about my smile again! Of course, with so much needed, I was dreading hearing what fixing my numerous issues would cost as I knew the work needed included most of my remaining teeth. Luckily, during check-out and scheduling my next appointment with staff member Ashley, I was given some excellent resources and options for financial assistance that will make restoring my smile and dental health something I can actually move forward with!! Fact is…. every staff member I’ve worked with at Kirkland Family Dentistry has been knowledgeable and skilled and helped me feel very welcome during my three visits thus far. Thanks to Dr. Ruben, Ashley, and everyone who assisted; you are all fantastic in what you do…. and I’m actually looking forward to my next visit! John 😁
